This blog is about my life and my art, which are tightly interwoven. I teach Drawing & Painting and Advanced Art at North High School in central Phoenix. I love my job and am working towards my National Board Teacher Certification. I have a 23 year old daughter who just graduated from Evergreen State College in Washington state. She comes up a lot in my blog because she is such an intergral part of who I am. I have been trying to create a small collage every day, but during the school year, it seems to only happen on the weekends. I also work in oil paints and I do figure studies in a variety of media.

Thank you! I try to make a collage a day, but it becomes more difficult during the school year as I am busy planning lessons and such.
